DBI has a new Managing Director of Interiors. Robyn Rubino, IIDA, WELL AP, has been appointed to the post.

“With this elevation, Robyn will play a significant role in the operations of the firm,” said DBI President, Alan Storm. “She has done a magnificent job bringing fresh perspective and innovation to our interiors practice. Her WELL AP certification brings a focus on the health and well-being of those who use the spaces we design, which is all the more important in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

With this change, Robyn moves up from Director of Interiors.

Robyn brings a great deal to the table. With twelve years of design and project management experience, she is adept at managing all aspects of the project process from programming to construction administration, supervising design teams, and providing quality control, as well as coordinating with clients. She provides refined, tasteful, and efficient designs to her clients. Her extensive portfolio includes a wide variety of workplace, non-profit, higher education, tenant improvement/building repositioning, and hospitality projects. Robyn’s notable projects include several interiors renovations for George Washington University in Washington, DC, Shift5 in Arlington, VA, About Objects in Reston, VA, 4501 N Fairfax Drive in Arlington, VA, and many others.
