Mrs. Harrelson received her BFA in Interior Design from Marymount University in 2016, specializing in commercial office, hospitality, and health care design. Since graduation, she has worked in increasingly complex roles as an interior designer and project manager involved in all phases of corporate interiors projects, including site verifications, programming, and schematic design, utilizing Revit, Enscape, and Creative Cloud programs. Sarah has also developed her expertise in production of construction documents, using Revit with support of AutoCAD backgrounds and working with the owners and contractors from visioning and programming through construction administration.

Her recent projects include 4501 N Fairfax – Conference Center and 6th Floor Spec Suites with a Townhall, Arlington, Virginia, at 4501 N Fairfax Drive (programming, design development, client presentations, construction documents, construction administration, and FF&E), George Washington University Dining Facilities at Pelham Hall and Mitchell Hall, located in Washington, DC (programming, design development, construction documents, and construction administration), and various tenant outfits/spec suites with KBS Reality, Bridge, and Maunlife in the Virginia Metropolitan area (programming, design development, construction documents, and construction administration – often as liaison between the tenant and client.)

Sarah is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and Hospitality Industry Network (NEWH), and is currently in the process of receiving her NCIDQ. She has been involved with the Volunteer Mentor Program at Marymount University since 2018, and has helped organize workplace sustainability programs.
