SUSTAINABILITY

DBI Architects is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and a significant percentage of DBI’s design staff are LEED® or WELL accredited. All DBI staff are committed to the importance of environmental issues and their impact on the design of our built environment. When specifying finishes, fixtures, materials, or furniture, DBI uses recycled materials wherever possible, does not consider woods from endangered rain forests, and avoids materials that have a long-term, detrimental effect on the environment. The firm’s goal is to specify goods that are sustainable, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly.
